Written by John Ondrasik and released on November 17, 2003, as the first single from The Battle for Everything (2004), this piano-driven soft rock ballad explores life in different ages during a 100-year lifespan. The song reached number one on the US Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and number 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, earning a Platinum certification from the RIAA in 2007 for more than 1,000,000 copies sold.
