Released on May 6, 1985, as the theme for the James Bond film of the same name, this Duran Duran track became the only Bond theme song to reach number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. It peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart for three weeks and was the last track recorded by the band's five-member lineup until their 2001 reunion, with composer John Barry and the band receiving a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song.
