Written by Jon Secada and Miguel Morejon for Secada's 1992 debut album, this downtempo romantic soul pop ballad was inspired by a real-life experience during a concert in Amsterdam. Released as the third single in January 1993, it peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the Spanish version topped the Hot Latin Songs chart. The track received an ASCAP award for being among the most-played recordings of 1993.
