Aretha Franklin

Born in Memphis and raised in Detroit, she signed with Atlantic Records in 1966, where she recorded hit albums including I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You and Lady Soul. She won 18 Grammy Awards and became the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987, with videos including "Respect," "Think," and "Chain Of Fools."
