Bauhaus

Bauhaus formed in Northampton in 1978 and became the founding band of gothic rock. Their debut single "Bela Lugosi's Dead" is widely regarded as the genre's first record, while the band's angular post-punk sound and Peter Murphy's theatrical vocals influenced generations of dark alternative music.
