Bo Diddley

Bo Diddley was a Mississippi-born guitarist and singer who developed a distinctive rhythmic style in Chicago during the 1950s. His 1955 single "Bo Diddley" introduced the syncopated "Bo Diddley beat" that influenced rock and roll, R&B, and later hip-hop. He recorded prolifically through the 1950s and 1960s, with songs like "I'm a Man" and "Who Do You Love" becoming blues-rock standards covered by numerous artists.
