Bullet For My Valentine formed in Bridgend, Wales in 1998, emerging from the metalcore scene with a melodic approach to heavy music. The band combined thrash metal influences with melodic guitar work and powerful vocals, releasing their debut album "The Poison" in 2005. Matthew Tuck's dual role as vocalist and guitarist helped shape their sound, which drew from both British and American metal traditions while incorporating accessible melodic hooks.
