Charo

Charo is a Spanish-American entertainer born in Murcia, Spain, who became known for her flamboyant personality and classical guitar virtuosity. Trained by Andrés Segovia, she brought a unique combination of technical skill and showmanship to her performances of Spanish traditional music. Charo became a frequent guest on American television variety shows throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, performing lively renditions of songs like "La Cucaracha" and "La Bamba."
