Cocteau Twins

Cocteau Twins formed in Grangemouth, Scotland in 1979 and became central figures in the development of dream pop and ethereal wave. Elizabeth Fraser's distinctive vocal style, often using non-lexical vocables, combined with Robin Guthrie's heavily processed guitars to create their signature sound. The trio released numerous albums on the 4AD label, with "Heaven or Las Vegas" (1990) marking their most commercially accessible work.
