Danzig

Danzig grew out of Glenn Danzig's band Samhain and took its name in 1987; Glenn Danzig had earlier fronted the Misfits. Produced by Rick Rubin, the band's 1988 debut album included "Mother", whose video premiered on MTV's Headbangers Ball. "Mother" later became the band's highest-charting single, reaching number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994.
