Dead Or Alive
Dead or Alive formed in Liverpool in 1980, led by vocalist Pete Burns, originally playing a post-punk sound before shifting to dance-pop production. The band achieved international success with "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" in 1985, produced by Stock Aitken Waterman, which became a number-one hit in the UK. They continued releasing Hi-NRG dance tracks through the late 1980s, including "Brand New Lover" from their album "Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know" (1986).
