Dennis Brown was a Jamaican reggae singer who began his recording career at age eleven in 1969, earning him the nickname "The Crown Prince of Reggae." Known for his smooth, soulful vocal style, Brown recorded prolifically throughout the 1970s and 1980s, working with producers like Niney the Observer and Joe Gibbs. His 1979 hit "Money in My Pocket" became his biggest international success, and he released over 75 albums during his lifetime.
