Destiny's Child
Formed in Houston, Texas, in 1990 and managed by Mathew Knowles, this R&B group's final lineup of Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams produced a string of Billboard Hot 100 hits including the number-one singles "Bills, Bills, Bills," "Say My Name," "Independent Women Part I" and "Bootylicious." "Say My Name" won two Grammys in 2001 — Best R&B Song and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group — and "Survivor" added a third the following year. The group disbanded in 2006 after a farewell tour and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
