Edward Maya

Edward Maya is a Romanian producer and musician who achieved international success in 2009 with "Stereo Love," featuring vocalist Vika Jigulina. The track became a club hit across Europe and beyond, distinguished by its accordion-driven hook sampled from "Bayatılar," a melody with roots in Azerbaijani and Romanian folk music. Maya had previously worked as a session musician and producer in Bucharest before breaking through as a recording artist in his own right.
