Electric Six
Electric Six formed in Detroit in 1996, originally performing as The Wildbunch before changing their name in 2001. The band's high-energy rock sound combined punk, disco, and garage rock with absurdist humor. Their debut album "Fire" (2003) featured the hit "Danger! High Voltage" and "Gay Bar," establishing their tongue-in-cheek approach to danceable rock music with frontman Dick Valentine's distinctive vocal delivery.
