Fats Domino
Fats Domino was a New Orleans rhythm and blues pianist and singer who became one of the 1950s' most successful recording artists. His rolling piano style and warm vocals produced a long string of hits beginning in 1949, with songs like "Ain't That a Shame," "Blueberry Hill," and "I'm Walkin'" crossing over from R&B to pop audiences. Domino's New Orleans sound helped shape early rock and roll during its formative years.
