Grateful Dead

Grateful Dead formed in San Francisco in 1965 and became the quintessential jam band, known for their extended improvisational concerts and devoted fan following. Led by Jerry Garcia, the band blended rock, folk, bluegrass, blues, and psychedelia across a three-decade career. "Touch of Grey" became their only top 10 hit in 1987, introducing the band to mainstream audiences after more than two decades of touring and recording.
