José González

José González is a Swedish-Argentinian singer-songwriter who emerged from Gothenburg in the early 2000s with his intimate, classical guitar-driven indie folk. His 2003 debut album 'Veneer' featured delicate fingerpicking and hushed vocals, including his sparse cover of The Knife's 'Heartbeats' which became an international success. González has released several critically acclaimed albums while maintaining his minimalist acoustic approach.
