Judee Sill

Judee Sill was a California singer-songwriter who released two albums in the early 1970s on David Geffen's Asylum Records. Her intricate compositions blended folk, baroque pop, and gospel influences with deeply spiritual lyrics. Sill's work included complex orchestral arrangements and themes of redemption, though she struggled with addiction and died in 1979 at age 35. Her music was largely forgotten until being rediscovered decades later by new audiences.
