La Bouche was a Eurodance project formed in Germany in 1994, featuring American vocalists Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray. The duo achieved international success with high-energy dance tracks like "Be My Lover" and "Sweet Dreams," which combined house beats with pop hooks. Their debut album "Sweet Dreams" (1995) sold well across Europe and found crossover success in the United States dance market.
