Marc Cohn
Marc Cohn is an American singer-songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio who emerged in 1991 with his self-titled debut album. His breakthrough single "Walking in Memphis" reached the top twenty on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned him a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1992. The song, inspired by a trip to Memphis where he visited Al Green's church and touched Elvis Presley's jumpsuit at Graceland, became his signature hit and established him as a thoughtful, piano-driven folk-rock artist.
