Mike Oldfield

Mike Oldfield released "Tubular Bells" in 1973 at age 19, an ambitious multi-instrumental progressive rock album that became a surprise commercial success. The British musician built his career on long-form compositions that showcased his ability to play numerous instruments. In 1983, he collaborated with vocalist Maggie Reilly on "Moonlight Shadow," which became one of his most successful singles internationally.
