Millie Small
Millie Small was a Jamaican singer born in 1946 who achieved international success as a teenager with her 1964 ska hit "My Boy Lollipop." The song became one of the first major ska recordings to reach mainstream audiences outside Jamaica, selling millions of copies worldwide. Produced by Chris Blackwell, the track featured Ernest Ranglin on guitar and helped introduce ska and bluebeat music to a broader international market.
