Number Girl

Number Girl was a Japanese rock band from Fukuoka that formed in 1995 and became influential in the Japanese indie rock scene. The group played angular, noise-influenced rock with complex song structures and raw energy that distinguished them from mainstream Japanese rock. They disbanded in 2002 after releasing several albums that influenced subsequent generations of Japanese alternative musicians.
