Oleta Adams

Oleta Adams was a Kansas City vocalist who spent years performing in hotel lounges before being discovered by Tears for Fears. She contributed vocals to their 1989 album "The Seeds of Love" before launching her solo career. Adams' 1990 debut album "Circle of One" featured her distinctive blend of jazz, gospel, and adult contemporary styles.
