Paul Hardcastle

Paul Hardcastle is a British electronic music producer and composer who emerged from London's early 1980s synth-pop scene. His breakthrough single "19" was released in 1985, addressing the Vietnam War and the average age of American soldiers who fought in it. The track topped charts across Europe and reached number 15 in the United States. Hardcastle went on to produce numerous smooth jazz albums and television theme music.
