Peter Schilling

Peter Schilling was a German synthpop artist who achieved international success in the early 1980s. His space-themed hit "Major Tom (Coming Home)," inspired by David Bowie's "Space Oddity," featured classic new wave synthesizers and became popular on both sides of the Atlantic.
