Queens Of The Stone Age

Queens of the Stone Age formed in Palm Desert, California in 1996, led by guitarist-vocalist Josh Homme after the dissolution of Kyuss. The band developed a heavy yet melodic hard rock sound they termed "robot rock," characterized by down-tuned guitars and hypnotic grooves. Albums like "Songs for the Deaf" (2002) and "Lullabies to Paralyze" (2005) featured rotating lineups of acclaimed musicians while tracks like "No One Knows" brought desert rock to mainstream audiences.
