Shalamar

Shalamar was an American R&B and soul group assembled in Los Angeles in 1977 by Soul Train booking agent Dick Griffey. The classic lineup featured Jeffrey Daniel, Jody Watley, and Howard Hewett, who recorded the group's biggest hits including 'A Night to Remember' and 'The Second Time Around.' Their polished sound and dance routines made them major stars in the early 1980s disco and soul scene.
