Slipknot

Slipknot emerged from Des Moines, Iowa in 1995 as a nine-member metal band known for their aggressive sound and masked appearances. Their 1999 self-titled debut album was certified double platinum, while 2001's "Iowa" debuted at number three on the Billboard 200. The band's lineup featured multiple percussionists alongside traditional instruments, creating a dense, brutal sonic approach that influenced numerous metal bands.
