Steve Winwood
Steve Winwood began his career in the 1960s with the Spencer Davis Group before co-founding Traffic and briefly joining the supergroup Blind Faith. His 1980s solo career brought massive commercial success, particularly with the 1986 album "Back in the High Life," which spawned the number-one hit "Higher Love" and other top-ten singles. Winwood's soulful voice and keyboard skills blended rock, pop, and blue-eyed soul across his decades-spanning career. He continued releasing successful albums into the late 1980s with "Roll with It" reaching number one.
