Switchfoot

Switchfoot formed in San Diego, California in 1996, with brothers Jon and Tim Foreman alongside drummer Chad Butler. The alternative rock band released several albums before breaking through commercially with "The Beautiful Letdown" in 2003, which featured the singles "Meant to Live" and "Dare You to Move." While the band members share Christian beliefs, they have sought to reach broader audiences beyond the contemporary Christian music market.
