System of a Down

System of a Down formed in Glendale, California in 1994 and achieved commercial success with five studio albums, three of which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. Their videos "B.Y.O.B." (which won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2006), "Aerials" (which reached number one on Billboard's Alternative Songs chart), and "Chop Suey!" showcased their politically charged lyrics addressing anti-war themes and social issues.
