Ten Years After
Ten Years After formed in Nottingham, England in 1967, featuring Alvin Lee's high-speed blues guitar playing. The band released a series of blues-rock albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with "A Space in Time" from 1971 containing their hit "I'd Love to Change the World." Lee's rapid-fire guitar technique and the band's extended improvisations made them popular on the concert circuit throughout this period.
