The Blow Monkeys

The Blow Monkeys were a British band formed in London in 1981, led by singer-songwriter Dr. Robert. Their sophisticated blend of soul, jazz, and pop reached commercial peak with their 1986 album "Animal Magic," which included the hit "It Doesn't Have to Be This Way." The band released several albums throughout the late 1980s before disbanding in 1990.
