The Connells

The Connells formed in Raleigh, North Carolina in 1984, part of the college rock and jangle pop movement of the era. Their sixth album 'Ring' (1993) gained them international attention, particularly in Europe where the single '74-'75' became a substantial hit. The band has continued recording and performing through lineup changes, maintaining their melodic guitar-driven sound rooted in Southern alternative rock traditions.
