The Dave Clark Five

The Tottenham band knocked the Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand" off the UK chart with "Glad All Over" in January 1964 and topped the US chart in December 1965 with "Over and Over." They had 18 appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show and starred in the 1965 feature film "Catch Us If You Can" directed by John Boorman.
