The Moody Blues
The Moody Blues formed in Birmingham, England in 1964, initially playing R&B before transitioning to orchestral rock. Their 1967 album "Days of Future Passed," recorded with the London Festival Orchestra, featured "Nights in White Satin" and marked a shift toward their progressive rock sound. The band continued recording throughout the 1970s with albums like "Seventh Sojourn" and "Every Good Boy Deserves Favour," establishing themselves as key figures in symphonic rock.
