The Muppets

The Muppets are puppet characters created by Jim Henson that began appearing on television in the 1950s. Their performance of "Mahna Mahna" on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1969 featured two of Henson's characters. The Muppets went on to star in The Muppet Show television series and numerous films. The characters have released various musical recordings over the decades.
