The White Stripes

Formed in Detroit in 1997, this American rock duo consisted of Jack White and Meg White. Their 2003 album Elephant produced "Seven Nation Army", which became a sports anthem and the band's signature song, winning them their first Grammy Awards before they dissolved in 2011.
