Third World

Third World formed in Kingston, Jamaica in 1973, blending reggae with elements of funk, soul, and rock. The band achieved international success with their 1978 cover of "Now That We Found Love," originally by The O'Jays, which became a hit in multiple countries. Third World's fusion approach and use of both traditional reggae rhythms and pop sensibilities helped them maintain a career spanning several decades.
