Van Morrison

Recording career started in the 1960s as lead singer of the Belfast R&B band Them before launching a solo career with the 1967 hit "Brown Eyed Girl." Released the album Moondance in 1970, which helped establish him as a major artist blending soul music with Celtic tradition and jazz influences.
