Xscape

Xscape formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1992, comprised of sisters LaTocha and Tamika Scott, along with Kandi Burruss and Tameka Cottle. Discovered by producer Jermaine Dupri, the quartet signed to his So So Def label and released their platinum debut "Hummin' Comin' at 'Cha" in 1993. The group's sophisticated harmonies and contemporary R&B sound produced hits like "Just Kickin' It" and "Understanding" throughout the decade.
