Yellowman
Yellowman emerged from Kingston, Jamaica in the late 1970s as one of dancehall's first major stars, known for his toasting style and humorous lyrics. Despite facing discrimination due to albinism, he became Jamaica's top dancehall artist in the early 1980s with his rapid-fire vocal delivery. His prolific output and charismatic performances on tracks like "Zungguzungguguzungguzeng" helped establish dancehall as a distinct genre separate from roots reggae.
