Bohemian Rhapsody
Written by Freddie Mercury, "Bohemian Rhapsody" spent nine consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart from November 1975 and became the Christmas number one that year. The single shared the Brit Award for Best British Single at the inaugural 1977 ceremony with Procol Harum's "A Whiter Shade of Pale," and won the award again in 1992 following its re-release.
