This 1991 collaboration brought together thrash metal band Anthrax and hip hop group Public Enemy to cover Public Enemy's 1988 song, which originally appeared on the Less than Zero soundtrack and reached No. 56 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The original song, written by Joey Belladonna, Frank Bello, Charlie Benante, Chuck D, Scott Ian, Eric Sadler, Hank Shocklee, and Dan Spitz, featured production by the Bomb Squad with a dissonant mixture of funk samples, drum machine patterns, and industrial noise, and was ranked No. 160 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 greatest songs of all time.
