Call Me When You're Sober
Written by Amy Lee and guitarist Terry Balsamo, this lead single from The Open Door was inspired by the end of Lee's relationship with singer Shaun Morgan. Released in September 2006, the musical fusion of alternative metal, symphonic rock, and electropop peaked at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100 and number four on the Alternative Songs chart. The music video directed by Marc Webb draws inspiration from the fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood," depicting a metaphorical visual.
