Written by Noddy Holder and Jim Lea and produced by Chas Chandler, this 1971 single became Slade's first UK number one hit. The song remained in the top 50 for fifteen weeks and was later featured on the band's 1973 compilation Sladest. A compilation album sharing the song's title was released outside the UK in 1972.
