Corrina
First recorded by Bo Carter in 1928, this 12-bar country blues in AAB form was copyrighted in 1932 by Armenter Chatmon with Mitchell Parish and J. Mayo Williams. The Mississippi Sheiks recorded it in 1930 as "Sweet Alberta" with Papa Charlie McCoy on vocals. Taj Mahal's 1968 version is one of many interpretations spanning blues, jazz, rock and roll, and Western swing styles.
