Dance To The Music
Released in 1967, this track became the first single by Sly and the Family Stone to reach the Billboard Pop Singles Top 10, peaking at number 8. The song popularized the band's sound, which would be dubbed 'psychedelic soul' and emulated throughout the black music industry, and was later inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1998.
